About

A licensed team that takes the work personally.

We’re a small Auckland crew who genuinely like this trade and the people we do it for. Here’s who we are and how we work.

Novite Electrical is led by Ilia Selivanov, a licensed Auckland electrician, and we’re a small crew who care about doing this properly. Where a lot of trades run as a single pair of hands, we work as a close, accountable team, so we can take on larger jobs, new builds and full renovations included, while still giving each one real attention and keeping to the timeline.

Most of what we do is the kind of work that keeps a home or a premises humming quietly in the background: switchboards, rewires, lighting, EV chargers, heat pumps, three-phase, fault-finding, the jobs that turn up as a tripped breaker or a flickering light and end with everything exactly where it should be. We work right across Auckland, and we’re glad to look after the city’s Russian-speaking community too, in English and Russian.

Ilia leads each job himself and stays answerable for it, so the person who quotes the work is the person on site while it happens. That’s the heart of Novite: licensed, code-compliant work where you always know who you’re dealing with, and you’re never handed off to a stranger.

How we work.

You get a clear quote before we start, code-compliant work documented on completion, a clean site, a tidy handover, and a walk-through at the end so you know exactly what was done and why. If something behind the wall turns out different from the brief, you’ll hear from us before anything changes, not after. We’d never hand back a finished job without showing you through it first.

We keep the whole job easy to follow, from your first message through to a documented finish, so booking us is as simple as sending a message and you get the same standard every time.

We’re a proud founding member of the Odyssey Network of local trades, a shared standard for careful, code-compliant work across Auckland. It’s part of how a small team like ours holds such a steady standard, and for you it just means the work is easy to follow and nothing slips through the cracks.
